“The bee is more honored than other animals, not because she labors, but because she labors for others”
-St. John Chrysostom

First and foremost, our goal has always been good stewardship towards an endangered population. If we don’t live by that philosophy in beekeeping nothing else falls into place. It is our job to be guardians of our bee population first, then other rewards of beekeeping fall into place.

Whiskey Trail Bees started with the desire to have a few bee hives to help the waning bee population, a hobby with a purpose.  And possibly, if we were lucky, we would get a few jars of honey in the process. Just like everyone else we were aware of the problems facing the bee population and we wanted to help.  So, first and foremost, our goal has always been good stewardship towards an endangered population.  But bees being what they are, fascinating, quickly had us hooked.

So one summer, on our Tennessee dirt road, right off the Whiskey Trail, Whiskey Trail Bees buzzed into fruition. Two hives quickly became more and more, and Whiskey Trail Bees took flight. We are now a full-service apiary, with various products and services keeping with our beliefs in bee sustainability. It is our job to be guardians of our bee population first, then other rewards of beekeeping fall into place.

Testimonials

HONEY
I don’t know if it’s the Tennessee air, flowers, water, or the love the owners put into their beekeeping, but the honey produced at Whiskey Trail Bees is the best of the best. My family loves honey on yogurt, in hot or cold tea, and in smoothies. This honey is the best we’ve ever had. When we can get our hands on some, we get multiple jars just to keep it in stock. It seems every batch sells out. It’s that good! This year’s Spring batch is incredible. If you haven’t tried it, you really should! You won’t bee🐝 sorry you did!

BEES
Bought a nuc that had lots of bees and by mid-summer the hive was exploding with bees so I was able to split the hive. Both made it through winter. Thanks, Stanley with kick starting my apiary.

BEES
We are new beekeepers. In March of 2020 we bought our 1st pkg. bees. In May we bought nucs from Stanley. The pkg. bees left in November Stanley’s lasted thru the winter & are still going strong.

BOO BOO BEE BALM
Boo Boo Bee Balm Story.  My left elbow had begun to get a bed sore.  It was very red, dry, and crusty. I used it ONE time, I applied quite a bit.  The next day it was better, not sore, nor crusty.
